A Folly book is just as likely to come from a first timer writer as an established writer. Because we treat Folly Books as culture, not stock, we design beautifully collectible items.

A Folly story earns its place on our list through its voice and tone. If a manuscript could sit comfortably on a worthy literary house's list, it isn't for us.

Whether Folly carries the full cost or the author co-invests, the work meets the Folly bar, we back the books we take on, market them like we mean it, and split the proceeds down the middle.

We don't publish much. We publish well.
